Hmmmmmmm why are they getting $90,000 – the show has finished??????

It’s like Cathy Freeman wining the Olympic 100 metres women’s event and then the next week someone runs a fast time and they are given the gold medal……. If the show is finished why are they getting the money?

Wasn’t that the risk of doing the show – if you don’t get reserve you don’t get the money.

In real life heaps of people everyday don’t get their reserve price or what they are wanting for their house…. I must say I am miffed!

I read online that “The couple were facing financial difficulties after the unit was passed in and were considering postponing their upcoming wedding”….. not to sound harsh but that happens to people all of the time….

I also read “We’re about $25,000 in debt, so we’re in a bit of trouble,” Chez 28, tells TV WEEK. “I quit my job for the show, so we’re on struggle street”.

Seems to me like Brenton was waiting for the cash to roll in to pay for that engagement ring and it didn’t happen???

I am still a massive fan of The Block, however, I don’t think that it’s FAIR that they get the cash after the show is done and dusted!
